The community is invited to attend the event from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Farmhouse at Willow Creek located at 984 Farmhouse Way in Folsom – Parkshore Drive and Folsom Blvd.

The Sacramento Region Community Foundation’s Big Day of Giving falls on May 2ndand it represents all that makes the region great: collaboration, generosity and community. Big Day of Giving is an annual 24-hour community-wide movement that unites the region’s nonprofit sector to help raise unrestricted funds for the organizations that strengthen the capital area. BlackPine Communities has teamed up with HomeAid Sacramento, a local non-profit organization focused on building new lives for Sacramento’s homeless through housing and community outreach, to create a fun and farm-to-fork event at Farmhouse at Willow Creek in Folsom.

The Farmhouse Flower Market will feature farm-fresh goods to sample and purchase including olive oils, honey and preserves by Loomis native High Hand Nursery. An open flower market will be present for attendees to select flowers by the stem and ‘Build-Your-Own-Bouquet’! Wine, brew and small bites will be provided, compliments of local sponsors Willamette Wineworks, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and Movement Mortgage.

The event is located in the model courtyard of BlackPine’s Farmhouse at Willow Creek community in Folsom. Located in the heart of Folsom, surrounded by natural preserve, ring-creek and endless biking and walking trails, Farmhouse at Willow Creek is the epitome of tranquility and comfort. The two-story single-family modern farmhouse-style homes range from 1,858 to 2,409 square feet with three to four bedrooms, extra loft space, two and a half to three baths and two-car garages. Four modern farmhouse models and move-in ready showcase homes will be available to tour at the Farmhouse Flower Market.

HomeAid Sacramento will be present at the event to collect donations ($15 minimum) if attendees wish to contribute.
