Another one for the books

John Orr & Bob Rivinius

HomeAid Sacramento’s 10th Annual Rivinius-Orr Golf Tournament was a great success.

The fundraiser began with a welcome reception at a stunning Tahoe residence and concluded with a surprise donation of $100,000 from Timberworks. Timberworks also issued a challenge for next year’s sponsor to donate $100,000, which Timberworks will match!

Overall, this event raised over $280,000! This total includes $18,000 that will be allocated to our raffle for a cause project, AMI Housing’s Pioneer House, which benefited from a $10,000 match offered in memory of Joey Shepard and in honor of Doyle Headrick.

The remaining funds will support HomeAid’s mission to assist individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Thank you to each player, sponsor, volunteer, and planning committee member who made our 2025 golf tournament a success.

We couldn’t do what we do without our community’s generous support.
