In 2019 alone, HomeAid volunteers have donated over 4,843 hours. Volunteers can join a CARES event or project to support our mission to build new lives.

HomeAid CARES is an ongoing effort to connect members of our community with vital volunteer projects to serve the needs of individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Our volunteers from the building industry and the community take on much needed projects for local shelter providers such as painting, clean ups, or model home furniture donation deliveries. You, your friends, family and/or company can host a CARES event or participate in our annual Spread the Warmth Blanket Drive, held in conjunction with National Homelessness Awareness Month in November and December. Thanks to the support of individuals like you, we have collected over 2,000 blankets since 2014.

As part of HomeAid Sacramento's outreach to the homeless in our community we provide CareKits for homeless individuals and families. CareKits are packed with essential hygiene items for individuals who have no other resources. You and/or your company can donate CareKit items, make a donation to purchase Care items or team uo to assemble the CareKits. There are many ways to help!  Get a complete list of CareKit items here! We BUILD. We CARE. We PARTNER.
