My Sister's House strives to develop the economic and emotional self-sufficiency of domestic violence survivors of all backgrounds while offering the only shelter that specifically serves the needs of the highly diverse Asian and Pacific Islander population in the Central Valley region.
Through education, intervention services and through its Safe Haven Shelter Program, My Sister's House empowers women to move forward to a life free from violence and abuse. Its Women to Work Program focuses on helping women survivors of domestic violence get back on their feet, so they can rebuild their lives. Through an array of supportive services that help women move towards a state of stability, My Sister's House helps its residences take the next steps toward a steady job and become self-sufficient. Services have included: providing health information and referrals, transportation, clothing, child care and housing assistance, and employment and career guidance.Project Donors Image Gallery
