The annual Trap Shoot fundraiser by HomeAid Sacramento is always jammed-packed with exciting competition, fun games and great food! Over 80 teams participated in the sold out event on Friday, August 24th, 2018, which allows sponsors to pick their traps and is first come, first served. Bryce Robicheau, Citadel Roofing and Solar is chairing this event for the sixth straight year in a row. The $10,000 Double Barrel Sponsor this year is Sac Windustrial, receiving 3 trap shoot teams, event signage, prominent logo placement, special recognition in the event program and e-blasts, $400 in raffle tickets, 10 non-shooter tickets and 20 practice rounds.

Veterans and Their Families Grateful to HomeAid Sacramento and Volunteers of America for New Apartments

Veteran Robert, his wife Angie and their two children have now moved out of their car and into their new home, a two-bedroom, one bath renovated apartment operated by Volunteers of America Northern California and Northern Nevada. They  are very grateful to now have a true home that is a safe place to raise their children.  The family came up with the idea of an ice cream social as a way for the veterans and their families to thank the building teams, organizations, and donors who made their new homes possible.

HomeAid Sacramento Celebrates with Building Partners the Renovation of Maryhouse, a Program of Sacramento Loaves and Fishes, on April 20, 2018

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - April 20, 2018 -- The completion of a month-long renovation of HomeAid's latest remodel project at Maryhouse, a Sacramento Loaves & Fishes women's day shelter, was celebrated on April 20th. A collaboration of HomeAid Sacramento and Builder Captain, The New Home Company, along with a total of 11 builders and trade partners, entirely funded the refurbishment of the facility that has provided daytime shelters and showers for over 30 years. Maryhouse offered hospitality to over 3,300 women, children and families last year alone and had not seen any enhancements to their facility in more than 25 years.
