How Can I Help?

Rebuilding communities is something we all can do. No one is immune from homelessness and every man, woman and child should have a safe, dignified place to live.

Whether it is providing financial resources or volunteering with a local homeless shelter, we all work best as a team. We encourage community members and corporations to support HomeAid Sacramento through financial contributions or with a contribution of your time. Together, we can build the way home!

There are many ways to get involved with HomeAid Sacramento to make a difference in the lives of Sacramento's temporarily homeless families and individuals!

Support HomeAid with a Financial Gift

Make a financial donation to support HomeAid’s mission -- No amount is too small and every dollar counts! A donation of just $10 can purchase the items needed to fill our CareKits.

Become a Monthly Sustainer!

By choosing to make a reoccuring monthly gift, you help sustain HomeAid's ongoing mission to build dignified housing for our area's homeless neighbors and to help fund CARE events such as Painting for a Better Tomorrow. Monthly giving can fit into your budget easily and also helps us budget our financial resources wisely too.

Honor a Friend or Family Member

At HomeAid Sacramento, we understand how much your family members, friends, and co-workers matter to you. Some of our supporters choose to honor their loved ones with a financial gift to HomeAid. What a great way to show your love by making a gift that will benefit your community for years to come!

  • MEMORIAL GIFTS express your sympathy and respect for the loss of a loved one. HomeAid Sacramento will send a thoughtful card to the family of the deceased to let them know you gave in their loved one's memory.
  • HONOR GIFTS express your admiration and appreciation in honor of someone special or a special occasion. HomeAid Sacramento will send an appropriate card to your selected honoree that may be personalized to convey your good wishes such as: “Happy Birthday,” “Congratulations on Your 25th Anniversary,” or an individual message of your choice.
How Do You Want to be Remembered?

Your gift through your estate is more than a personal financial decision. It is your statement about what you value in life. Choosing to design a future gift for HomeAid Sacramento will provide hope for struggling families, individuals and veterans facing homelessness, while creating an inspirational legacy to inspire your own family and friends.

Participate in a HomeAid CARE Day

HomeAid CARE Days provide the perfect opportunity to get involved with a hands-on project by making a one day commitment that will have a lasting impact on local nonprofit organizations serving homeless families and individuals. Through HomeAid CARE Days, housing facilities throughout Sacramento receive a "facelift" with cosmetic upgrades and minor repairs performed by volunteers. This is a great way for both individuals and businesses to get involved with HomeAid.
